It's the grand finale of the Miss Mexico pageant. Elena plans on making a shock announcement to the press but before she can, a woman's body falls on the terrace.
Jocelyn learns that her sister has disappeared. Meanwhile, in the presentation to the sponsors, Nora tricks Dolores, Marijo and Jocelyn to take part in a pornographic video. Afterwards a politician tries to rape Jocelyn, who Dolores accidentally kills in self-defence.
The next day the girls try to act naturally and keep up appearances, but reports of Valenzuela's disappearance soon appear on the news. The girls stick to their version of what happened, corroborated by all those involved in the night's events.
Raúl intimidates the girls while Elena hides the tape in Hidalgo's office. Isabel gets Iriarte's sponsorship but finds out that she is pregnant. Jocelyn tries to run away to search for her sister, but fails. Isabel has an abortion and ends up in an emergency.
Valenzuela's widow appears on television asking for help. La Encantada welcomes a Mexican band, and they choose five girls for their music video. At a party with them, Jocelyn runs away to go in search of her sister. Mirko gives chase and shoots her.
In the middle of a photo session, it is announced that the governor's body has been found in the town's river. Raúl López Morton is pressured by the party, but he threatens to reveal the incriminating tape that shows the politicians abusing the contestants.
Raúl goes in the car with Elena and threatens her; it is clear that the girls have already lost. He offers Jocelyn and Ángeles a deal so they won't be held responsible, but the future of the contestants is in danger and another commits suicide.
It is the grand finale of Miss Mexico. After the death of Dolores, they choose a new winner. The contestants make a pact to reveal the truth of what happened, but it does not turn out as expected.
