Kenny Powers is now a family man with a wife, April, two little kids, and a home in the suburbs, but a night out with a former teammate and current TV star has him yearning to get back in the limelight.

Kenny is seeking new fame as a professional sports commentator and is invited onto former teammate Guy Young's radio show. When his radio debut goes disastrously wrong, Kenny reluctantly acknowledges there is only one man who can help him, and that man is Steve.

An overnight trip to a water park is a nice, honest, wholesome treat from Kenny to his family and friends, but it sets the stage for an evening of anarchic debauchery.

Whilst Kenny makes good on a threat to Gene, Stevie is finding Kenny a charity to promote for Guy's dragon boat race, and the one he finds is not what Kenny was expecting. Meanwhile, Toby uses his dad as a role model to summon the courage to feed his new pet.

Kenny's stock is soaring, so much so that he and Stevie have started planning business ventures based on his new found notoriety. Kenny's fame is not pleasing everyone though, especially Guy, who asks him to tone it down a notch on "Sports Sesh".

Kenny is rattled when Guy introduces an unexpected wild card into "Sports Sesh", and it's not long before Kenny finds himself fighting to save his broadcasting career. For her part, April wouldn't be shedding any tears, she has had her fill of "Famous Kenny".

Kenny finds his personal extravagances are starting to take a toll at work. Meanwhile, Dustin and Cassie help Kenny learn a valuable Christmas lesson, and Stevie keeps up appearances in the face of considerable adversity.
