Vice President Selina Meyer and her staff are still finding their footing in Washington D.C. Selina decides to make the Clean Jobs Commission a pet project but a series of mishaps cause her staff to run damage control.

The Veep's office is revived by good news that her task force is likely to be green lit. With the President out of the country, Selina looks to make headway on filibuster reform and meeting with some 'normal' people.

Faced with a trumped up story of a rift between the Veep and the First Lady, Selina quells accusations that everything is about her. Gary selects candidates for the VP dog but Selina's daughter Catherine gets final say.

Dan and Amy attend a book launch for Governor Danny Chung, a charismatic Asian-American war hero, who Selina worries could be a political threat. Meanwhile, Gary and Amy discover that Selina has a lover.

Selina becomes obsessed with the nicknames given to her by bloggers and, after being snubbed from a briefing, assigns Dan to get White House intel. Later, Dan's political manoeuvring puts the Clean Jobs bill on the line.

Selina attends a healthy eating event at Camden Yards with some very grumpy fast-food execs, where she confides a secret to Amy. Mike holds a press briefing for some local news pals, save for the inquisitive Leon West.

With the Veep and her staff taking flack over a pregnancy rumour and the firing of a Secret Service Agent, Selina orders a "partial" full disclosure of all office correspondence and threatens to fire a key staffer.

Selina travels to Ohio to support Rep. Furlong but given the Veep's low approval rating he no longer wants the endorsement. The Clean Jobs bill comes back to haunt Dan in the form of a possible Congressional Hearing.

Fresh off successful campaign appearances for midterm elections, Selina sees an opportunity to expand her role, but must first curry favour with the president's icy senior strategist Kent Davison. Meanwhile, the staff's personal lives have some new developments.

Selina attends a pig roast in North Carolina as part of the president's "Listen to Rural America" initiative. Elsewhere, Dan takes up Pilates to get face time.

As a hostage crisis in Uzbekistan heats up, Selina and Secretary of Defence General Maddox have trouble getting on the same page. Sue testifies at a Congressional hearing on governmental efficiencies, while Dan and Gary jockey for the Veep's ear.

Rankled at an unflattering White House photo release, Selina takes steps to keep her staff happy as they prepare for her appearance at the Vic Allen dinner. Elsewhere, Mike and Kent are bonding, Jonah gets an executive parking space, and Sue has a job interview.

Selina and her staff head to Helsinki to finalise a trade agreement, but are worried whether Selina will be received warmly in Europe. Dan calls Mike for advice on charming the press and Mike leans on Jonah for help. Kent and Ben argue over how to deal with new intel.

Catherine's 21st birthday party becomes a forum for Selina's budget negotiation with the majority leader, but Amy and Gary are more worried how Selina will handle seeing her ex-husband. Meanwhile, fields press inquiries on Selina's role in the Uzbek hostage crisis.

With D.C. in the midst of a government shutdown, Selina is forced to furlough some of her staff, whereas Danny Chung takes advantage of the shutdown. A damaging story leaks about Selina's ex-husband Andrew, and Gary and Jonah go on a run to retrieve Selina's trash.

After being prepped for a soft and easy interview at the VP residence, Selina is thrown by the interviewer's hardline approach and brutally exposing questions.

Undeterred by a message that POTUS wants Selina to limit her public appearances, the Veep continues her plans. Meanwhile, Dan attempts to play both sides of the Selina/Danny Chung rivalry.

With the administration in full crisis mode and Selina's future in doubt, the entire staff goes on a frenzied job hunt.

In Iowa, Selina courts possible caucus voters at a book signing for her new autobiography, while her team attends a staff wedding in D.C.,. As the day proceeds, she and her staff get word of a rumour that could affect the next election.

After a quick visit to their new campaign HQ, Selina and her team go on a ride-along with the Coast Guard where they learn the president has flipped on a major issue. Meanwhile, Gary questions his role with the Veep, and Jonah's new political blog causes trouble.

While Selina and her staff prepare for an Annapolis event where she will announce her candidacy, Dan gets word that "Saturday Night Live" has done a not-so-flattering sketch about her.

On a fundraising trip, Selina is challenged by an anti-fracking mum and visits the campus of Clovis, a tech company with an ambitious young CEO. In D.C., Jonah makes a crude viral video of the encounter, and Dan gets an idea for a rumour he can spread against Chung.

Selina has lunch with a major strategist she may tap as her campaign manager, even as Amy and Dan are openly vying for the job. Defence Secretary Maddox invites the vice president to his country estate, and Mike's colleagues find out he's mixing business with pleasure.

At an economic summit in Detroit, Selina's staff and family are peeved by the presence of her new personal trainer. Meanwhile, Jonah and Mike negotiate a photo-op with Selina and Maddox. Catherine protects her mum from a protestor, and Selina attends a women's gun show.

In the U.K. for the 100th anniversary of WWI, Selina's staff worries about Ray's growing influence on the Veep. Dan's nerves begin to fray as Ben gets news that sends him back to D.C.,. Later, Jonah arrives in London, U.K. to spy for Team Maddox, and Amy leaks a secret.

Selina and the staff prep for her debate with George Maddox, Danny Chung, congressman Owen Pierce and Joe Thornhill, a major-league baseball manager who entered the race. Wendy, Mike's wife, arrives to do a style piece on Selina, but eyes a bigger story involving Ray.

With Thornhill ahead in the polls, Selina and her staff discuss how to make her more "folksy". In need of a job, Jonah meets with Bill Ericsson, while Selina has an interview with pretentious journalist Quincy Carter.

Three days before the New Hampshire primary, Selina and her staff juggle her multiple official obligations and campaign appearances.
