The Better Woman

The story starts with two different women who exactly look alike. Both are celebrating their birthdays, but they are not together as they do not know each other. They are Jasmine and Elaine.

Erlinda becomes uneasy as she learns about Jasmine's look-alike. She packs her bags and goes to Manila to verify if this look-alike is her long-lost daughter named Juliet.

Andrew is visibly upset upon learning that he and Jasmine can't have a baby, and hurt that Jasmine kept her condition a secret.

Still wearing her mask, Elaine sits on Andrew's lap to seduce him. But she will be irked that Andrew is not giving in to her.

Roberto apologizes to Jasmine when he realizes that she is just Elaine's look-alike. Jasmine goes to her room traumatized by the incident.

Jasmine begins to suspect that the woman she saw at the fruit stand was not merely her look-alike, as she tries to connect the incident to Erlinda asking her to look for a certain Juliet

Despite being hurt, Jasmine tries to understand her mother whose dilemma as a single mother under deep financial woes drove her to abandon Elaine. Jasmine regrets not having found out about the truth and not having looked for her twin sister a long time ago.

As he speaks to his sister-in-law over the phone, he senses something strangely familiar with Elaine’s voice. Even Elaine feels the same uncanny familiarity. Both begin to wonder if they have ever met.

Juliet will stop Jasmine and Erlinda from going inside Juliet's house as she claims that their presence might surprise her adoptive parents.

Juliet resists and claims that she still owns the bar owner money. She promises Erlinda that it will be her last night at the bar and that she has decided to join her and Jasmine in the province.

Juliet and Andrew are finally introduced to each other. Juliet is unable to take her eyes off Andrew and holds tightly onto his hands.

Angela and Jasmine confront Julie about the missing watch, which Julie vehemently denies taking.

Jasmine stops Juliet from leaving. She apologizes profusely for the things she said to her sister. Juliet is moved and hugs Jasmine back. Erlinda is relieved to see her daughters reconcile.

Juliet's luck continues as she goes island-hopping alone with Andrew. Jasmine is unable to join them because of a VIP guest at the resort and because Juliet had kept her sister's phone to make her busy looking for it.

Juliet is disappointed to see Jasmine and Andrew about to make love. She runs towards the nearby resort, orders beer and gets drunk.

Juliet is also elated when Andrew defended her from a foreigner who attempted to disrespect her.

Angela warns Jasmine to be careful with Juliet because her sister might be in love with Andrew and not just with a random guy.

Andrew and Juliet are both shocked. Andrew could not believe that the girl she kissed was not his wife.

Sensing that Andrew is looking at her, Juliet dives into the pool naked. As Andrew panics, he accidentally knocks off a figurine and takes off immediately. Juliet succeeds in her game plan.

Jasmine is rushed to the hospital. Juliet pounces on Angela and blames her for what happened to Jasmine.

Juliet apologizes to Andrew for the kissing incident, but he does not buy her alibi.

Andrew is unable to reveal the whole story about Juliet. Instead, he tells Jasmine that he caught Juliet kissing a married man, which is bad for the image of the resort.

After making love with Andrew all night, Juliet wakes up the next day and sees him still sleeping. She gets up and calls Chesi to check on Jasmine.

Andrew is shocked at his realization that he slept with Juliet.

Jasmine wonders why Andrew is giving her the cold treatment.

Andrew tries to open up to Joross about his awkward behavior towards Jasmine because of what he and Juliet did. He is aware that Jasmine has noticed that he has been acting strange lately.

Juliet is dumbfounded upon hearing Andrew’s ultimatum. Andrew is angry and determined.

Juliet calls up Andrew to ask if he liked her gift. But Andrew has already burned up the lingerie. Juliet then tells Andrew that if he cannot accept her as sister-in-law, then perhaps they can just be casual bed partners.

Erlinda advises her daughter not to get involved with a married man.

Erlinda confronts Juliet but felt dizzy. She wakes up at the hospital.

At the bus station, Juliet thinks that Andrew has come to stop her from leaving. But to her surprise, Andrew tells her that he came not on Jasmine’s request but to make sure that she will indeed leave the town.

Jasmine pleads Juliet to talk things over whatever it was that caused her rift with their mother.

Andrew will get a chance to ask Juliet about their meeting at the Red Room. He asks Juliet if she plans to ruin his life and his marriage. But Juliet is apologetic and will admit that she is only attracted to him.

Andrew is shocked hearing the doctor's prognosis on Juliet.

Paolo admits to Chesi that Juliet has asked him to pretend that he is the father of her child. Paolo has agreed because he is greatly indebted to Juliet.

The result of the paternity test is out. Juliet is vindicated. She explains to Jasmine that the father refuses to acknowledge her baby, so she was forced to make a rash decision.

Jasmine happily confirms that she is pregnant. But instead of being happy with the good news, Andrew is stunned and unable to react.

Erlinda is surprised to learn that Jasmine is pregnant. She worries about Jasmine, but the latter assures her that her body can take the rigors of pregnancy. Because of an unexpected incident, Erlinda and Andrew decide to send Juliet away.

Jasmine questions Andrew about Juliet’s ultrasound result but Andrew is ready with an alibi.

Juliet finds out that they are moving to Manila because Jasmine is also pregnant. She crashes into the thanksgiving party to confront Andrew. And as he announces the good news, Juliet will also reveal her secret.

Jasmine is rushed to the hospital and will refuse to see Andrew.

Juliet pretends she is bleeding and will be rushed to the hospital. Juliet seeks Andrew's attention again.

After Juliet and Erlinda's confrontation, Ronaldo rushed Juliet to the hospital. A sad news awaits Juliet.

Juliet manages to escape from Ronaldo. She appears to have lost her sanity.

Andrew, Jasmine and their baby are the picture of a perfect family. The couple is excited to be planning for their child. But unknown to them, Paeng is watching their every move upon Juliet’s orders.

Juliet orders Ronaldo to kidnap Jasmine.

Ronaldo will force himself on Jasmine who refuses at first but will eventually give in as she realizes that it will help her escape.

Ronaldo will go berserk as he finds out that Jasmine has escaped.

Juliet does everything to stop Jasmine from reaching the resort and to reveal the truth to Andrew. Juliet succeeds in sending Jasmine away in a truck.

Juliet and Paeng successfully transport the unconscious Jasmine to Juliet’s apartment.

The sisters fight and Juliet prevails over Jasmine who is still weak. Kawaii begins to notice that there is something different about Jasmine

Chesi suspects about Juliet's personality and tells Erlinda about it.

Juliet suddenly remembers that she has a meeting with Angela and a few resort investors. In her rush, she will forget to change her earrings. Angela will notice this but she will choose to keep mum about it.

Chesi accidentally sees Paeng in La Union and introduces her to his girlfirned, Amy.

Chesi's suspicions become stronger as she conducts her won investigation on Paeng and Juliet.

Chesi tries to tell Andrew what Juliet's secret is, but she will be caught and dragged to the apartment where another prisoner is being held.

Andrew and Erlinda are worried as both Jasmine and Angela are not home yet and couldn't be reached through their mobile.

Paeng disposes off Chesi's body. Andrew receives a sad news.

Ronaldo learns about Angela's murder and visits her wake.

Ronaldo insists that Juliet is Elaine and he will try to take her with him.

Juliet is furious that Jasmine is back and taking care of baby Daniel.

Ronaldo and his men intervene as Andrew and Juliet's argument escalates into a physical fight.

The police informs Andrew that Paeng has been arrested and that Chesi's body has been found. Jasmine is still nowhere to be found.

As Ronaldo tries to consummate his lustful intentions, the sisters will help each other escape.

In the end, will Juliet choose to do what is right, for herself and her sister?
