Nina

While promoting his book on a TV interview, Antonio introduces his future wife, Mara. After the interview, he finds out that his brother has awoken from coma. Manuel and Patricio offer Nina a job to replace Mara, but it will take far more than just looking like her.

Mara has a hard time being in jail and Tincho arrives in Spain to represent her. Nina must sneak out of her hostel in order to attend a magazine anniversary event pretending to be Mara.

Manuel is a little overwhelmed by the fact that Nina is pretending to be Mara that his speech at the event doesn’t go according to plan. Nina learns of the luxurious lifestyle Mara has, as well as how busy her schedule is.

Mara gets into a big fight in prison right before she was able to explain her situation to Antonio on the phone. Meanwhile, Nina goes too far in an argument with Antonio which may have enormous implications for Mara.

Renzo attends Nina’s concert and she goes to great lengths to make sure that he does not recognize her. Mara continues preparing for her escape from prison with the other inmates, but will she be able to pull it off?

Mara and her fellow inmates plan to escape goes horribly wrong, and they plan to get their revenge for her having ruined their plan. Renzo begins to remember the night of his accident, but Antonio strangely discourages his attempts to remember.

Manuel introduces Mara to her new lawyer, Penelope, who tells her that she can be free within a week if she manages to record the person trafficking pills in the prison. Nina is forced to make the kind of decisions Mara would usually make.

Nina has a hard time pretending to be Mara while talking about her childhood during a ride on a train with Renzo. Antonio continues his search for Renzo fearing he has learnt the truth.

At the prison, Mara puts her plan to get a confession from one of the inmates into action. Nina learns that Mara may have been adopted, and after taking a hard, long look at a photo of Mara, begins to see herself in the photo.

Mara is finally leaving prison but is confused about who she speaks to when she calls home and Nina answers. Meanwhile, things get physical when Nina gets into a fight with Graciela, Bicho’s estranged wife.

Mara becomes suspicious when she sees a photo of herself in a magazine, despite never wearing the dress she was in. Renzo has a run-in with the real Mara who mistreats him leaving Renzo confused.

Nina attempts to get answer from Jose about how her mother got pregnant. Renzo has a flashback and remembers writing a chapter of his book in a cabin.

Renzo suspects his brother Antonio of doing the unthinkable after discovering some old letters hidden a box. Meanwhile, Nina must pretend to be Mara when a police officer makes a home visit.

Antonio devises a mischievous plan to deal with Renzo’s accusations, which involves a trip to the hospital. Mara attempts to leave the house despite there being an officer outside the house 24/7.

Antonio does his best to accommodate Mara’s needs, but a call with Andrea leaves her feeling jealous. Nina is mistaken for Mara, this time by the police.

Mara disguises herself as a man to avoid being arrested and goes shopping at the mall. Renzo argues with Antonio after his test results prove he is not going crazy.

Nina and Mara come close to seeing each other at the prosecutor’s office. Salo remembers a few things which leads him to believe that Antonio stole the book he supposedly wrote from Renzo.

Mara returns to prison in Spain and tries to avoid the other inmates out of fear of what might happen to her. Renzo begins to believe that “Mara” has a multiple personality disorder after he hears Susy shout “Nina”.

Separated at birth, twin sisters Mara and Nina lead very different lives and are unaware that the other exists. Their lives change when they are forced to switch places and soon discover that love conquers all kinds of distances.

The runway show goes horribly wrong and ends up being a media scandal. Mara manages to catch up on news in prison and sees herself at the runway show despite being in prison.

The prison warden believes Mara is going crazy and orders her to have a psychological exam. Renzo is torn between his feelings for “Mara” and his respect for his brother.

In prison, Mara goes on hunger strike which gathers support from a few inmates who see her as a heroine. Manuel catches Renzo and “Mara” kissing passionately while Antonio and Andrea also have a passionate moment of their own.

Patricio confesses to Mara that another Mara does indeed exist and begins to feel guilty. Meanwhile, Antonio spends the day spying on Renzo and Nina.

Nina confronts Jose and Manuel and demands an explanation as to why the two hate each other so much. Renzo makes a proposal that he and Nina pack up and leave, but will she agree?

Patricio must hide the fact that Mara’s photos taken in prison will not be published, despite her wanting to do something nice for her father for a change. A misunderstanding leaves Renzo furious as “Mara”.

Selva becomes suspicious of “Mara” after she is hugged by her and seeks to inform Manuel. Nina goes to extreme lengths to prove how much she loves Renzo.

Selva interrogates “Mara” to get to the bottom of things and ends up noticing a physical attribute that may prove her theory correct.

Milagros learns that truth about who planted the knife that kept her in prison which could spell trouble for Mara. Someone from Renzo’s past walk back into his life, but the timing is suspicious.

Renzo learns the truth about Belen’s son and takes time to digest this information. In prison, Milagros wants to destroy Mara for keeping her in prison and promises to grind her to a pulp.

Selva visits Mara in prison and is talked into confessing that another girl is posing as her, which shocks Mara. Nina walks in on Antonio have a heated argument with Belen.

Nina attempts to deal with the fact that Renzo is no longer a part of her life. In prison, Mara plots with Selva and Milagros to give her "replacement" what she deserves.

Andrea notices that “Mara” doesn’t seem like herself due to her strange behavior and talks to Manuel about it. Renzo has a plan to reveal the origins of Antonio’s book during an Award acceptance speech.

Belen becomes jealous of “Mara” and also expresses her dissatisfaction to Renzo regarding the way he handled the Award ceremony. Renzo tests how committed Nina is to him by asking her a big question.

Mecha uses her knowledge of Nina’s mother to blackmail Jose into doing her favors. Meanwhile, Milagros is proceeding with her plan to poison Nina but begins to realize she is not as bad as she thought she was.

At the hostel, Bicho and the gang begin to suspect that Milagros is up to no good. Milagros finally gets the perfect opportunity to poison Nina.

Milagros begins to have second thoughts about poisoning Nina after hearing her life story. Belen finally reveals the truth about whether Renzo is indeed the father of her child.

In prison, Mara starts a rebellion after learning that Milagros would not execute the plan to poison Nina, and chaos unfolds.

Mara gets taken hostage after she turns against the rebellion in prison. Nina finds herself in a race against time to get to a band performance.

Renzo visits Bicho to look for clues explaining why “Mara” is acting so strange. Nina writes a letter to Renzo explaining how Patricio and Manuel found her.

Renzo attempts to stop Antonio from reading Nina’s letter. Mara is finally out of prison and back home which creates a great deal of confusion.

Antonio and Renzo begin working on their book, but distractions are getting in the way. Mara forces Milagros to take her to Nina’s home to learn more about her, but bumps into Bicho.

Bicho makes a move on Mara thinking she is Nina, and after being in prison for so long, she finds it hard to resist him. Renzo talks to Mara about not marrying Antonio.

At the hostel, Nina finally confronts Jose about Mara and their remarkable resemblance. Renzo and Bicho meet and both confess that they both feel like they’re seeing two different women.

Nina tries to get information from Bicho about what Renzo thinks of the girl Renzo likes. Jose confronts Mara for the first time.

At the publishing house, Nina is determined to meet Mara but Manuel refuse to let that happen and instead asks Nina to sign the cancellation of the contract in which she pledges not to tell anyone about her double role.

Antonio tried to convince Mara to go ahead with the wedding. Nina calls Renzo to tell him the truth, but as soon as he answers her call, he sees Antonio and Mara walk into the house.

Mara and Nina agree to finally meet at Manuel’s house, but Nina could be walking into a trap.

After knocking out Nina, Mara puts a plan in motion to pretend being Nina. But she may have bitten off more than she can chew when she is made to participate in a festival with the band.

Renzo appears at Nina’s door to ask if she is Nina or Mara. Will he finally learn the truth?

At the hostel, auditions are being held for Nina’s replacement. Nina finally tells Renzo the truth, but it doesn’t go how she hoped it would.

Nina attempts to sneak into Renzo’s room at the hospital after his car crash. After listening to Nina’s CD, Ramon decided to support Nina’s music career.

Renzo can not hide his anger at Manuel for keeping Nina a secret, and Manuel begins to suspect that he knows something. Nina gets an unexpected call from Mara with a strange proposal.

Nina believes that Mara could be a relative and talks to Jose about it, but notices how weird he is acting about the conversation.

Nina gathers Jose and Manuel in a room and asks them to clarify the family issues leaving the pair in a sticky situation.

Bicho makes Nina an offer to return to the band, but she is torn between doing so and starting a solo career. Nina attempts to make Renzo jealous at a barbeque by getting close to Bicho.

Milagros learns of Antonio’s true intentions with Mara and informs Patricio at Manuel’s home. Renzo attempts end his relationship with Graciela, but she doesn’t make things easy for him.

Antonio sees how much progress Renzo has made on the book, but his patients is running thin. Patricio falls ill and during a moment of delirium, says something which was meant to be kept secret.

Graciela replaces Nina in the band, but the crowd at a show aren’t quite ready to see Nina go. Nina talks to Bicho about ending their relationship.

Mara decides to come home after discovering her credit card had been suspended by her father. Renzo and Nina finally get some time alone but are eventually interrupted.

Milagros finally gets a chance to speak to Mara about Antonio’s bad intentions, but Mara doesn’t trust her. Renzo and Nina go to a cabin by the river for some alone time.

Nina finally tells Renzo how she feels about him. Mara disguises herself as Renzo and attempts to seduce him.

At the Hostel, Nina puts an end to her relationship with Bicho when she sees him kissing Graciela.

Mecha tells Patricio and Manuel that she knows of the existence of Mara and Nina, and the truth about their mother. In exchange for her silence, Manuel agrees to help Bicho with his musical career.

Nina agrees to meet Mara, but Renzo stays close to protect Nina from anything that Mara might want to do to her.

Manuel invites Patricio to his home and the pair discuss Nina and Mara, and when they plan to reveal the truth that they’re sisters, but someone has overheard their entire conversation.

Mara seeks the help of Milagros to help her look like Nina. Bicho is furious when he sees Renzo and Nina kissing.

Nina is forced to intervene when Bicho and Renzo get in a fist fight. Milagros brings Mara some new clothes and begins coaching her to act like Nina.

Mecha asks Nina to leave the hostel and she agrees. Mara infiltrates the hostel posing as Nina in order to ruin her life.

Renzo and Nina discover that Mara was at the hostel and that she is most likely up to no good. To stop Mara from ruining Nina’s show, Patricio locks her in her room but that may not be enough to stop her.

Mara moves in with Antonio which annoys Renzo. After multiple failed attempts at seducing Renzo, Mara dresses up as Nina and waits for Renzo to return home.

Renzo realizes that the woman he has kissed is Mara and cannot believe her antics. He asks Nina to leave for the South with him.

Antonio is bombarded with questions from journalists after Andrea reveals the true author of his books. Things get worse for Antonio when he sees Renzo kissing “Mara”.

Renzo tries to explain to Antonio that he was kissing Nina and not Mara, but Antonio who feels betrayed by everyone refuses to believe this.

Nina agrees to meet Mara, but Renzo stays close to protect Nina from anything that Mara might want to do to her.

Mara offers Milagros a night of passion in exchange for her help to do something about Andrea. But when Andrea is almost run over by Milagros, she believes Antonio was the culprit.

Antonio is arrested after being accused of trying to kill Andrea. Patricio suspects Mara had something to do with the attempt on Andrea’s life.

Antonio finally realizes that Renzo was telling the truth and that Nina and Mara are two identical women when he sees Nina on TV.

Milagros is being hunted by the police but is determined to get her own back at Mara. Mara hatches a plan to avoid being found by Milagros by disguising herself as Nina.

Nina’s resemblance to Mara lands her in trouble. Antonio and Renzo organize a press conference to limit the damage caused to the publishing house as well as Antonio. Mara has her own agenda at the event.

Mecha uses her knowledge of Nina to blackmail Manuel. Milagros is leaving for Mexico for good and writes Mara a goodbye letter.

Renzo and Antonio film an interview but it does not go as planned. Manuel attempts to convince Nina to be her manager.

Nina suspects Manuel has something to do with Jose’s decision to leave. Mara goes to extreme lengths to find out the location of Nina’s show.

Mara has a heart-to-heart moment with Antonio and informs him of her time in prison. A famous Hollywood producer arrives at the publishing house.

The Hollywood producer, Paz, wants to acquire the rights to Renzo’s book so she can make a movie out of it and does her best to have a meeting with him.

Paz finally gets the opportunity to talk to Renzo. Mara manipulates Nina into thinking a woman is interested in Renzo leaving her feeling paranoid.

Nina pretends to be Mara at the publishing house in order to find out who Paz is and what she wants. Andrea visits Antonio and they both declare Mara as their enemy.

Paz asks Renzo to accompany her to Los Angeles to close his movie deal, but Renzo he is unsure whether to accept her invitation. Nina disguises herself as a service worker in order to gather some information.

Nina’s disguise may not be as good she thought it was when someone notices her spying. Mara once again badmouths Nina, but this time she may have gone too far.

Andrea is left in shock when she sees two Mara’s fighting. Antonio and Salo land themselves in trouble when they invite a couple of girls from the gym home.

Andrea mistakes Nina for Mara, so Nina seizes the opportunity to gather intel. Mara has a scheme to take down Renzo with the help of Nico.

Mara tricks Susy into believing that she is on her side and that she wants her to be her stepmother in order to gain her trust. She also disguises herself as Nina and visits the hostel to deceive Andrea.

Disguised as Nina, Mara continues to deceive Andrea when Nina suddenly walks into the hostel. Nina questions Mecha on whether she ever saw her mother pregnant.

Manuel attempts to evade Nina in order to avoid giving her an explanation about her past. Nina goes to see Mara to tell her that she’s almost convinced they’re sisters.

Mara completely opposes Nina’s notion that the two could be sisters. Mara does what she does best and pretends to help Nina discover the truth.

Mara confronts Renzo and tells him not to ruin her new relationship with Nina, but Renzo knows it’s all a charade. Willy introduces himself to Nina as Mara’s lawyer and that he’s there to help her discover her identity.

Renzo and Nina get into a heated argument about her new relationship with Mara. Willy and Mara go to extreme lengths to stop Nina’s investigation.

Willy and Mara’s plan to confuse Nina about her identity is underway. Mara is shocked by what she sees when Susy hands her a photo of Luisa.

Shocked by the photo of Luisa, Mara goes into denial and even goes as far as to say that the photo must have been altered. Mara agrees to Nina’s request to do a DNA test to find out if they are sister once and for all.

Mara agrees to go through with a DNA test, but Nina has no clue that Mara has no intention to really go through with it. Salo tries to get revenge by secretly recording Antonio and Graciela.

Antonio agrees to do Salo’s bidding when he is caught on camera being intimate with Graciela. Mara tricks Nina into getting into a hot air balloon with no pilot.

Nina is floating alone on the hot air balloon, not knowing how to get down and without her phone. Renzo sets off to look for her.

Mara’s hot air balloon stunt may have really messed things up for Willy and Renzo pops the big question.

Nina finally gives Renzo an answer after he asks her to marry him, but the answer is not as straight forward as Renzo would have hoped. Renzo interrogates Willy to gather information about Mara’s plans.

Manuel needs to raise funds for his divorce settlement and selling shares of the publishing house could be his only option. Nina prepares to go on tour.

Nina begins her tour, but it strangely comes to a halt. Mara visits Renzo and opens up to him the same way she did with Nina, leaving him feeling suspicious about her intentions.

Mara continues her plan to ruin Nina and it seems to be working when Nina hears her in the background during her call with Renzo. But Mara has even bigger plans in the works.

Mara’s latest plan to ruin Nina is underway. She spikes Renzo’s drink causing him to pass out, but her plan doesn’t end there.

Renzo doesn’t remember much about his evening with Mara and tries to put pieces together. Nina tries to deal with the shock of seeing the photos of Renzo and Mara together.

Patricio could be on the verge of discovering the truth about the photos of Mara and Renzo together, but Mara will do whatever it takes to keep him from learning the truth.

Patricio tries to get Mara to confess that her DNA results were falsified. When that doesn’t work, he sets his sights on Willy.

Renzo becomes jealous when he notices Nina and Checho becoming close. Patricio recruits Renzo to get Nina to do another DNA test after learning the truth about the first test from Willy.

Checho visits Manuel and makes him an offer to buy the share of stocks that are up for sale for the publishing house. Nina goes on Checho’s TV show, but Renzo is not impressed by what he sees.

Mara is almost depressed from watching Nina shine on TV and will have to up her game if she is to destroy her. She sets her sights on Checho.

Renzo makes Nina choose between himself and her career. Mara seduces Checho, but is it all a ploy to destroy Nina?

Nina gets into a huge fight with Mara as she holds her solely responsible for her breakup with Renzo. Renzo goes to see Nina before his flight to the south but is shocked by what he sees once there.

Patricio wants to expose Checho for taking advantage of both Nina and Mara. Nina goes digging for information by meeting Checho while disguised as Mara.

Nina attempts to team up with Mara against Checho after discovering that he’s playing both sides. Patricio walks into an awkward situation.

Manuel attempts to tell Mara the truth about Nina but she doesn’t want to hear it. Renzo tries to do damage control when Nina sees him with Ana in the cabin.

Nina is shocked when she sees Andrea on TV explaining that Nina and Mara are twins. Renzo returns from the south and is surprised by what Antonio and Andrea have done.

Manuel apologizes to his daughters and tells them the whole truth. Nina is in shock and Renzo tries to convince her to talk to Jose.

Andrea and Mara plan to set up a trust fund in order to shut Nina out of the estate. Mara interrupts Antonio during his TV show appearance and things get out of control.

Nina talks to Manual and Jose and wants one of them to take responsibility for all the lies. Mara and Andrea devise a new way to destroy Nina.

After being sent to Jail for identity theft, Nina is mistaken for Mara by the inmates. Someone helps Nina get out of jail and it’s the last person she expected it to be.

Things get out of hand when Renzo gets into a head argument with Antonio and Mara ends her pact with Andrea.

Andrea visits an abandoned factory to meet Antonio, but all is not as it seems. Andrea could be walking into a trap.

The police question Manuel about Andrea’s death. Selva plays innocent, but will she be able to keep her composure.

The police continue their investigation for the murder of Andrea and Mara seizes an opportunity to finally ruin Nina’s life.

Mara’s plan to incriminate Nina for Andrea’s murder is in full swing. Nina finally agrees to tie the knot with Renzo, but everyone is concerned when Manuel does not show up for the wedding.

Nina and Renzo search all the local hospitals for Manuel after his disappearance. Mara finally discovers her father’s location, but Manuel’s captor appears before she can rescue him.

It’s the day of Nina’s awards ceremony but finding Manuel is her number one priority. When she learns of Manuel and Mara’s location, she devises a plan to save them.

Mara and Nina work together to get the best of Selva. Months later, Nina performs the concert of her life and ends the show in a special way.
