Helena is diagnosed with a serious disease, but decides not to start treatment. She meets Juan and takes an interest in this strange man. Meanwhile, he approaches Alcira, a woman who also suffers from a serious illness.

Juan makes Alcira’s death seem like a suicide. He gets closer to patients at the medical insurance company that could be his next victims. Helena investigates him and starts having her doubts about this strange character.

Helena investigates Juan’s past by getting to know people who knew him. Meanwhile, Juan starts a relationship with Esmeralda, a woman who’s addicted to food. She doesn’t imagine that he could be as dangerous as he is enchanting.

Juan has a fierce encounter with a police officer. Helena investigates the death of Esmeralda and continues to look for the truth about Juan Deseado Molina. Meanwhile, he meets a woman who could be his next victim.

Juan gets closer and closer to Mónica. Helena decides to change the way she’s dealing with her illness. At the same time, she continues to investigate, and discovers crucial information on Juan that not even he knows.

In the meeting between Juan and Dr. Jonas, we discover hidden truths about what had happened in Antarctica. Juan receives something unexpected, and this destabilizes him. Helena deals with this situation as Lucero continues to investigate her.

Helena finds out that the media are referring to her as a murderer. Lucero arrives at La Pampa to try to catch them for once and for all. Juan has completely lost control, and this puts Helena in grave danger.
