In Iowa, Selina courts possible caucus voters at a book signing for her new autobiography, while her team attends a staff wedding in D.C.,. As the day proceeds, she and her staff get word of a rumour that could affect the next election.

After a quick visit to their new campaign HQ, Selina and her team go on a ride-along with the Coast Guard where they learn the president has flipped on a major issue. Meanwhile, Gary questions his role with the Veep, and Jonah's new political blog causes trouble.

While Selina and her staff prepare for an Annapolis event where she will announce her candidacy, Dan gets word that "Saturday Night Live" has done a not-so-flattering sketch about her.

On a fundraising trip, Selina is challenged by an anti-fracking mum and visits the campus of Clovis, a tech company with an ambitious young CEO. In D.C., Jonah makes a crude viral video of the encounter, and Dan gets an idea for a rumour he can spread against Chung.

Selina has lunch with a major strategist she may tap as her campaign manager, even as Amy and Dan are openly vying for the job. Defence Secretary Maddox invites the vice president to his country estate, and Mike's colleagues find out he's mixing business with pleasure.

At an economic summit in Detroit, Selina's staff and family are peeved by the presence of her new personal trainer. Meanwhile, Jonah and Mike negotiate a photo-op with Selina and Maddox. Catherine protects her mum from a protestor, and Selina attends a women's gun show.

In the U.K. for the 100th anniversary of WWI, Selina's staff worries about Ray's growing influence on the Veep. Dan's nerves begin to fray as Ben gets news that sends him back to D.C.,. Later, Jonah arrives in London, U.K. to spy for Team Maddox, and Amy leaks a secret.

Selina and the staff prep for her debate with George Maddox, Danny Chung, congressman Owen Pierce and Joe Thornhill, a major-league baseball manager who entered the race. Wendy, Mike's wife, arrives to do a style piece on Selina, but eyes a bigger story involving Ray.

With Thornhill ahead in the polls, Selina and her staff discuss how to make her more "folksy". In need of a job, Jonah meets with Bill Ericsson, while Selina has an interview with pretentious journalist Quincy Carter.

Three days before the New Hampshire primary, Selina and her staff juggle her multiple official obligations and campaign appearances.

Vice President Selina Meyer and her staff are still finding their footing in Washington D.C. Selina decides to make the Clean Jobs Commission a pet project but a series of mishaps cause her staff to run damage control.

The Veep's office is revived by good news that her task force is likely to be green lit. With the President out of the country, Selina looks to make headway on filibuster reform and meeting with some 'normal' people.

Faced with a trumped up story of a rift between the Veep and the First Lady, Selina quells accusations that everything is about her. Gary selects candidates for the VP dog but Selina's daughter Catherine gets final say.

Dan and Amy attend a book launch for Governor Danny Chung, a charismatic Asian-American war hero, who Selina worries could be a political threat. Meanwhile, Gary and Amy discover that Selina has a lover.

Selina becomes obsessed with the nicknames given to her by bloggers and, after being snubbed from a briefing, assigns Dan to get White House intel. Later, Dan's political manoeuvring puts the Clean Jobs bill on the line.

Selina attends a healthy eating event at Camden Yards with some very grumpy fast-food execs, where she confides a secret to Amy. Mike holds a press briefing for some local news pals, save for the inquisitive Leon West.

With the Veep and her staff taking flack over a pregnancy rumour and the firing of a Secret Service Agent, Selina orders a "partial" full disclosure of all office correspondence and threatens to fire a key staffer.

Selina travels to Ohio to support Rep. Furlong but given the Veep's low approval rating he no longer wants the endorsement. The Clean Jobs bill comes back to haunt Dan in the form of a possible Congressional Hearing.

As part of her Middle East peace-talks tour, President Meyer makes an historic trip to Iran, where an American reporter is being detained. In D.C., Dan is wooed by lobbyist Sidney Purcell, while VP Doyle stands in for Meyer at a Rainbow Jersey event with a gay NBA star.

A major internal crisis looms as Selina prepares for her party's convention. Meanwhile, Amy is annoyed by the president's new adviser, who's helping Catherine with her First Daughter speech, and Dan taps Jonah and Richard to pose as political insiders in Washington DC.

Selina is annoyed by press reaction to her running mate's effortless charm and decides to attend a pancake-brunch fundraiser without any of her team. When news arrives that a hurricane is about to hit North Carolina, it looks like it could be good news for her image.

A dramatic incident in the White House leaves the president shaken but Tom James' comments at a Q&A make her day even worse. As Mike tries to sell the press on Selina's Families First bill, Dan and Amy find themselves at a lobbying event for the concrete industry.

With the Families First bill growing toxic, Gary sets up a meeting with Amy and Dan to urge them to lobby against it. Selina tries to keep working while ill in bed with the flu but it soon becomes clear that victory or defeat lies in the hands of just one congressman.

While Selina fields questions from the press, members of her staff testify before a congressional committee about whether the Families First vote was intentionally sabotaged - and who was really behind the data breach.

On election night, Selina and her staff find their nerves growing frayed as each state result is called.
