Four years after Inger Johanne Vik lived her life in Washington, working for the FBI, we find out the reasons she came back to Sweden; but will it stay in the past? Helen Tyler, the president of the United States comes for a state visit and unpredictable events happen.
Swedish police put all their resources towards the search for the American president. Inger Johanne realises that her past is about to catch up to her when Ingvar becomes the Swedish contact person for Warren Schifford.
Inger Johanne is forced to steel herself to work with Warren. The differences in culture of the Swedish police and the FBI is becoming more and more evident when the search for the president finds the dead body of bodyguard Hunter Russell.
